If you are planning on leaving MGH/Partners shortly you can request to have the laptop encryption software removed from your device. To request the software removal, you will need to contact the Partners Service Desk. Indicate the date you will be leaving the institution and don’t forget to provide a personal phone number and email.
Important Note: Please back up your data after your request has been submitted. This is to safeguard against any loss of data during the decryption process, if the site security officer approves the request.
