The goal of the travel award is to enable those who work in CGM labs to attend scientific meetings and present their data.
Information and eligibility
- There will be four $1500.00 awards per year
- The initial monies will last for three years
- There will be two cycles, one in April and one in October with two awards granted each cycle.
- Call for abstracts will begin on February 15 (deadline March 15th) and August 15th (deadline September 15th)
- Applications will be reviewed by the CGM Travel Award Committee, selected based on scientific merit of the abstract and awarded on October 15th and April 15th.
- The conference must take place within one year from each application deadline.
- The award is open to all CGM employees (excluding faculty, junior faculty/Instructors), including research technicians, staff scientists, post-docs/fellows and students.
- The award can be used toward travel, conference fees, other conference-related expenses, such as meals, and childcare.
