The Mass General Brigham Training Program in Precision and Genomic Medicine hosts a journal club at which postdoctoral fellows and faculty discuss recent research articles covering the full spectrum of precision and genomic medicine. The Journal Club provides a great opportunity to stay abreast of cutting-edge research, connect fellows and expert faculty, and learn from each other.
Journal Club is open to postdoctoral fellows in the research laboratories of our T32 faculty as well as others by request.
Format: For each journal club, a fellow will present an original article related to precision/genomic medicine. The fellow will be paired with a faculty discussant expertise relevant to the article presented. The T32 PIs (Jordan Smoller and Heidi Rehm) are available to assist fellows in identifying and engaging faculty discussants if needed. After presenting the target article, the fellow will pose discussion questions to the faculty discussant who will then provide his/her insights, followed by open discussion.
*Refreshments will be served*
Day and Time: Wednesdays 1 – 2 pm
Location: MGH, Simches Research Building, 185 Cambridge St, Room 3-110 (unless otherwise specified)
