Overview

The Mass General Brigham Training Program in Precision & Genomic Medicine is co-led by Jordan W. Smoller, MD, ScD and Heidi Rehm PhD, FACMG; whose combined expertise spans the key domains that are a focus of this program: medical genetics and genomics, large-scale data analytics, molecular medicine and implementation of genomic research in clinical populations.

The training program brings together three outstanding components to build a world-class training program in precision and genomic medicine:

  1. an internationally-recognized faculty with expertise in precision and genomic medicine across a broad range of disciplines,
  2. outstanding institutional resources bridging clinical, genomic, and data sciences, and
  3. deep engagement with cutting edge, collaborative initiatives at the regional, national, and international levels to provide rich training experiences.

Faculty mentors and research resources span leading institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), Partners Personalized Medicine (PPM), Boston Childrens Hospital (BCH), the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (Broad), Harvard Medical School (HMS), and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH).
